Q. Why should I shop online at The Blue Corset Co. rather than at my local department store?

A. Our collection is not only unique, including European styles not readily found at department stores, but we also keep a complete inventory so you don’t have to search through racks of disorganized merchandise only to find your size is not in stock.

A. No. The Blue Corset Co. is a retailer of all forms of lingerie including bras, panties, chemises, gowns, robes, camisoles, garters, garter belts, and other accessories.

Q. How do I know which size to buy?

A. If you can not come in for a custom fitting and you have a tape measure available, please contact us by phone and we’ll talk you through the process of measuring yourself to determine your correct size. Hours of availability for assistance are Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 5PM.

Q. I’m not familiar with the bra styles – can you describe the differences to me?

A. While styles vary between designers and manufacturers, certain terms are used to describe similar types of bras.
· Full-cup/Full Coverage bras offer maximum support and coverage. They are most like your traditional shaped bras with a higher neck-line.
· Balconette bras offer less coverage, with a low, often linear line across the middle of the bust.
· Triangle bras most often have soft rather than molded cups and may or may not have an underwire. The cups are triangle-shaped pieces of fabric that offers a fair amount of coverage but minimal support. The style is most flattering to ladies who wear an A or B cup.
Push-up bras actually lift the breasts and push them toward the center of the body, to create gorgeous cleavage even in smaller-breasted women. Many of these styles come with removable pads (“cookies”) that can be used for maximum effect.

Q. The names of panty styles are confusing – can you describe the features of each?

A. · Strings feature a very small front panel and no real back coverage. It’s often used to eliminate the dreaded visible panty line.
· Thongs usually have a larger coverage area in front sometimes blending up to the hips. Their backs have a slightly wider “string” or panel that offers little to no coverage of the backside.
· Brazilian briefs have a small front panel, but offer a bit more coverage in the back than a thong. A good alternative if you don’t like the feel of a thong, but don’t want to wear a full brief.
· Full briefs offer the most coverage at the back, hugging your bottom rather than cutting across it.
· Boyshorts provide the most coverage. They are generally shaped like a very short, short and are sometimes called boxers. Do not let that fool you for they are not masculine at all and are typically very embroidered and detailed. They can be very fitted or slightly loose. Some are low-rise.

A. We seek to carry popular sizes as well as hard to find sizes for the smaller and larger busted woman. At present we offer sizes 32A to 46G and XS to 3XL. If you wear a size we do not carry we will be happy to work with you in finding and ordering merchandise that suits your figure.

A. If you prefer not to provide your credit card information online, you can call us and place a phone order with a corsetiere between the hours of 11AM to 5PM EST, Monday to Saturday.

Q. Payment & Shipping - How will my purchase be packaged and how long will it take to arrive?

A. Everything you order will arrive packaged separately in our signature, keepsake box tied with a bow. If you’re giving the item as a gift, you’ll need no extra wrapping or embellishment.
Depending on how soon you need your purchases, there are different shipping methods we can use:
· Standard shipping ensures your item will go out within one to two business days, provided everything is in stock.
· Express shipping ensures your item will go out within 24 hours, using 2-Day or Next Day delivery. Delivery days are calculated by business days only.
· International shipping is usually available, but we ask that you email us to arrange a suitable shipping option.
· Inside the Atlanta Perimeter area, same-day, hand delivery is available on orders placed before 12 PM, noon ; next-day hand delivery on orders placed after 12PM noon.

A. The Blue Corset Co. seeks to be a one-stop, all-inclusive specialty shop for the discerning and savvy lingerie shopper. As such our corsetieres work diligently to provide the most exclusive and uncompromising service. The shopper is welcome to actively browse or allow us to cater to her needs as she rests in our delightful setting. Aside from the splendid in-shop experience, the Blue Corset Co. will offer other special services including:
- Private shopping in store by appointment only.
- Private in-home shopping where a corsetiere can bring requested merchandise and sizes to the home of established customers. Private shopping will also be available to clients on area upscale hotels. All by appointment only.
- Customers Cards are available for the recording of sizes, preferences and wish lists to enable gift shopping for their significant others.
- Personal shoppers are available in the store. Established clientele can receive personal notification of new items their personal shoppers may deem of interest to them.
- Personal Hand Delivery within the Atlanta Perimeter available of purchased items for a surcharge. Items purchased before 12PM noon will be delivered on the same day. Others will be delivered the next day. Weekend delivery available with additional arrangements.
- Private Bridal Parties will be available by appointment after store hours.
- Seasonal private preview parties for established clientele.
- Specialty Ordering: The Blue Corset Co. will assist customers in searching for the perfect piece of lingerie available through our vendors beyond what is in the shop. We locate, order and arrange delivery of such pieces.

Q. Exchanges & Returns - What if I find I’ve ordered the wrong size -- can I return my purchase for a refund?

A. We want you to be delighted with your purchase and will cheerfully issue a credit to your credit card according to our refund policy. We ask that all items be returned in the same condition they were shipped in, meaning all tags are still attached and the garments have not been worn – to avoid any misunderstandings regarding the condition of the merchandise, we strongly suggest you try items on after ONLY bathing and before applying perfumes or lotions. We ask that the postmark on your returned items be no more than ten days from the day you received your purchase. Although we cannot offer a refund on sale merchandise, we will offer an exchange or a store credit. Please package your returns securely and send them by registered mail, as we can’t be responsible for items lost in the mail.
POLICY for RETURNING BOTTOMS: Once you receive your bottoms you may try them on ONLY over an undergarment or using some other protective method so garment remains hygienic. Bottoms returned will ONLY be accepted if we determine the product has NOT been soiled from the body, perfumes or lotions. If for any reason we determine the garment has NOT been protected properly we will not accept the return nor refund the money.

Q. Gifts - I’m a male customer shopping for a gift -- can someone help me choose the perfect item?

A. We appreciate the fact it may be difficult for you to choose an appropriate gift. If your lady has a wish list on file at our shop, you can simply call us for a handy hint and information on her correct size. Otherwise, we recommend taking a peek inside her lingerie drawer or trying to recall what she’s worn in the past to help you pick a color, style and size. If you want to play it safe regarding size, consider choosing loose-fitting loungewear like a camisole, chemise or a luxurious robe. And remember that if you do get the wrong size or color, you can exchange your item easily. (Please remember to ask for a gift receipt!)

Q. Gifts - How do I care for my fine lingerie once I’ve received it?

A. In general, you can follow the instructions on the care label attached to your lingerie. We always recommend hand-washing. If you prefer to use the gentle or hand-wash cycle on your washing machine, we recommend sorting items by color and washing in a lingerie bag. Never put lingerie in the dryer; dry it either flat or on the line.
